Point Blank Range Defense Courses

Specifically designed for those who are interested in learning the Skills and Mindset needed to prevail in a dynamic incident.  Learn the same skills and tactics our Law Enforcement Officers use to survive.  Shooters with no experience and those with little experience will definitely enjoy our Handgun 101 class.  This class will get you ready for the CHL and will allow you to take more advanced training. The intermediate(102) and advanced(103) levels of training are quite different from your standard “shooting at the public range” and definitely not for beginners!

Our instructors are available for personal 1-on-1 training in any discipline. The price per hour is generally 30$per hour with 2 hour min.

Handgun Maintenance

Your handgun is an investment worth protecting. Properly maintained, your pistol will provide years and tens of thousands of rounds of enjoyment, all while holding its value better than a car! Also, if you're using your handgun for personal protection, you need to know that most malfunctions are caused by poor maintenance. Point Blank Range Inc. is pleased to offer this 1-2 hour class designed to teach you the skills needed to keep your handgun performing and looking its best.

PBR Handgun 102: Intermediate Handgun Training

Time: 6-7 hours total

Topics covered:

This course expands on the fundamentals that you learned in NRA Basic Pistol Shooting or PBR Handgun 101. In this class we focus on defensive shooting and tactics. If you have not had a formal handgun marksmanship training course it’s advised you take the NRA Basic Pistol Shooting or PBR Handgun 101 course prior. This training is not for beginners!

This dynamic training is quite different from your standard “shooting at the public range”. We go over many of the things you should have learned if you are a CHL holder.

This Training consists of a mixture of the topics below:

*Combat accuracy
*Balance of speed and precision
*Drawing from concealment
*Multiple shot theories vs. double tap
*Drawing and moving
*Shooting and moving
*Shooting behind cover
*Reloads
*Malfunction drills

*We very often do these classes in a private setting either one on one or small groups, we can set up a class to train you on any of the items above and many many more. PBR Handgun 103: Advanced Handgun Training

Time: 6-7 hours total

Topics covered:

This course expands on the skills received in “PBR Handgun 102” In this class we focus on more defensive shooting and tactics. Shooters must take the PBR Handgun 102. This training is definitely not for beginners!

Same course and training police and military use to stay alive. This dynamic training is quite different from your standard “shooting at the public range”. We go over many of the things you should be doing if you are being attacked.

This Training consists of a mixture of the topics below:

*Scenario based training
*Shooting under stress
*Drawing from concealment
*Weapon Retention and Defensive strikes
*Drawing shooting and reloading on the move
*“Injured shooter” drills
*“Injured shooter” malfunction drills
*Engaging multiple targets
